Library

Filter the current list

Every recording — the same-audio grouping behind the library. A recording holds renditions (the audio files, ranked by the quality ladder) and appearances (the tagsets listeners see as tracks). Expand a recording to curate both arms; tick two or more and Merge folds them into one. Dormant recordings (no playable rendition) are hidden from the library — this lens is where you find and revive them.

New name

Renames the whole entity — its cover and all tracks stay attached.

Files move to Trash — you can restore them from the Trash scope.

Discarded files move to Trash — restoring them returns them to this queue.

Delete forever

This removes the blobs and all records — it cannot be undone.

Merge recordings

The other recordings fold into the target: renditions union and re-rank on the quality ladder, identical appearances collapse (the target’s copy wins), the target keeps its primary. Reversible only piecewise (Split off / Move) — merge has no single undo.

Move appearance

Type to search for the target recording.

The appearance will play the target recording’s best rendition. An identical appearance already there refuses the move.

Access & sharing

License Guest playable — listeners without an account can stream it Madnetwork scope

Recording-level: applies to every appearance and every rendition at once. An explicit guest setting is a manual decision the license auto-derive policy never overrides. Madnetwork scope decides who this recording is published to: everyone in your community (every node reachable through mutual friendships), only the nodes you friended yourself, or nobody. It governs both the catalog you advertise and the bytes you serve.
